Offering support, resources, community, education, and awareness for Floyd County, VA and surrounding regions.
The Network normally meets the 2nd Sat of every month, at 3PM, at the Floyd-Montgomery Library.
Currently, however, we will not be meeting for an undetermined period of time, as our organizer is out of state caring for her 88 yr old Dad. If anyone is interested in carrying the torch so meetings may resume, please connect with us via the contact button. Need help navigating the Lyme journey? Affordable, compassionate support can be found here.
What Our Members Are Saying
"The Floyd County Lyme Disease Network
has been invaluable to both my husband, who has Lyme disease, and
myself. We have both struggled with his horrific disease these last few years and once finally diagnosed in the Fall of 2014, he and I began to research everything possible to combat Lyme. One of the best resources happened to be right here in Floyd County. The people who come together twice a month to meet share everything- hope, despair, symptoms, expectations, frustrations, emotions, fears, concerns, hugs, support, stories, protocols, diet and doctors' information, books, videos and knowledge of everything they have come across on their own personal journey with Lyme disease. These meetings are extremely supportive, informative, educational and necessary to both Lyme victims and their families. There are so many people suffering right here in our community and this network is a major asset for everyone, even those not (yet) afflicted. I am so very grateful for this local group and for all of the people associated with it." Gwen G.
